\u00b7 Izjava umetnika<\/p>\n<h1>Osman Demiri<\/h1>\n<p class=\"subtitle\">Biography \u00b7 Biografija<\/p><\/header><section lang=\"en\" aria-labelledby=\"statement-en\">\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p>Everything that has been written or said about the fate of<br>Kosovar refugees is only a drop of water in the ocean compared<br>to the suffering they endured during their exodus and life in<br>refugee camps. Among all those affected, children suffered the<br>most. Their childhood world was overturned from the moment<br>they were forced onto the roads of displacement.<\/p>\n<p>Many of them took their first steps in the camp. In those<br>moments of anxiety and sorrow, they represented the only hope<br>and the greatest treasure of their families. The idea behind<br>this exhibition is to separate, at least symbolically, the<br>scenes of violence from the sincere and innocent lives of<br>children, and to present as normal a childhood as possible in<br>circumstances that were anything but normal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<hr class=\"divider\">\n<section lang=\"sl\" aria-labelledby=\"statement-sl\">\n<h2 id=\"statement-sl\">Izjava umetnika \u2013 Osman Demiri<\/h2>\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p>Vse, kar je bilo napisanega ali povedanega o usodi kosovskih<br>beguncev, je le kaplja v morje v primerjavi s trpljenjem, ki<br>so ga prestali med svojim begunstvom in \u017eivljenjem v begunskih<br>tabori\u0161\u010dih. Med vsemi prizadetimi so najbolj trpeli otroci.<br>Njihov otro\u0161ki svet se je obrnil na glavo v trenutku, ko so<br>bili prisiljeni stopiti na pot razselitve.<\/p>\n<p>Mnogi med njimi so svoje prve korake naredili prav v<br>tabori\u0161\u010du. V trenutkih tesnobe in \u017ealosti so predstavljali<br>edino upanje in najve\u010dji zaklad svojih dru\u017ein. Namen te<br>razstave je, da vsaj simboli\u010dno lo\u010di prizore nasilja od<br>iskrenega in nedol\u017enega \u017eivljenja otrok ter prika\u017ee \u010dim bolj<br>obi\u010dajno otro\u0161tvo v okoli\u0161\u010dinah, ki so bile vse prej kot<br>obi\u010dajne.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"biography\" aria-labelledby=\"biography-heading\">\n<h2 id=\"biography-heading\">BIO \/ Biografija<\/h2>\n<div class=\"bio-section\" lang=\"en\">\n<h3 class=\"language-label\">English<\/h3>\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p>Osman Demiri (1965) is a photographer, filmmaker, and<br>university professor from Kumanovo, North Macedonia.<br>He has explored photography throughout his life through<br>diverse subjects, perspectives, and technological<br>approaches. His work encompasses documentary and<br>photojournalistic photography, while he also achieves<br>a strong artistic expression through abstract visual<br>compositions. With his distinctive visual language,<br>he is regarded as one of the notable contemporary<br>photographers in North Macedonia and the wider region.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"bio-section\" lang=\"sl\">\n<h3 class=\"language-label\">Sloven\u0161\u010dina<\/h3>\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p>Osman Demiri (1965) je fotograf, filmski ustvarjalec<br>in univerzitetni profesor iz Kumanova v Severni Makedoniji.<br>Fotografijo raziskuje vse \u017eivljenje skozi razli\u010dne motive,<br>poglede in tehnolo\u0161ke pristope. Ustvarja dokumentarno in<br>reporta\u017eno fotografijo, veliko umetni\u0161ko izraznost pa<br>dosega tudi v abstraktnih vizualnih kompozicijah.
